I learnt this week that Psalm 110 is the most quoted Psalm in the whole New Testament - and it makes a lot more sense to me when I read it as being about Jesus and his kingdom!
Love Paul’s use of the picture of a race to illuminate the life of faith - it requires challenge and self-discipline if we are to make it to the glorious finish line, but in the struggle there is unrivalled purpose and hope
