Job has a steely determination to keep calling on God in the face of dire personal circumstances.
Paul’s language about the achievement of the cross is so vivid and final: we were circumcised, buried, or guilt is erased, it was nailed to the cross, and all other authority was disarmed. It’s pretty epic!
