Guys don’t bother coming to church on Sunday unless Christ has been raised from the dead. That’s the only way any of this makes sense, if Jesus actually died and actually came back to life again. And if he has been raised (by the way, he has) we will also be raised to life on the last day (none of this going to heaven business!) in new, resurrected bodies on Earth, reigning with Christ for all eternity.
Praying that lots of people in Bentley will after meeting Jesus be able to echo the Samaritans’ words “we no longer believe just because of what you said, now we have heard for ourselves and believe that this man really is the Saviour of the world”
