Everyone loves the book of Ruth, so it’s good news that it’s part of our readings for the next couple of days. More from the Bible Project here.
It’s interesting to be reading Deuteronomy and Acts alongside each other. In Deut God is concerned with the holiness of his people and puts laws in place so the people will live a holy life that reveals him to the nations. In Acts, it’s the arrival of the Holy Spirit that connects the community to God directly and leads to a beauty and holiness that spills out to people around them.
