Luke reading is challenging today. First Jesus talks about the way the kingdom of God spreads generously and touches much around it, like yeast in dough or a growing tree. But then straightaway he says there are boundaries on the kingdom too - perhaps Jesus means that not everyone touched by the goodness of God’s kingdom will choose to accept its king, and fully enter it?

Have read Luke today. A lot to take in after a long day. Will try again tomorrow.

Joel: ‘Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love’ great words, great hope!
