First bit of Luke is a sobering one to read before leading a church service… reminds me of one of the best and most terrifying lines in the ordination service: “remember always with thanksgiving that the treasure now to be entrusted to you is Christ’s own flock, bought by the shedding of his blood on the cross. It is to him that you will render account for your stewardship of his people”. I pray for the Holy Spirit’s help in this amazing task!
I’m all up for forgiving people. But once is a mistake, twice is a choice! I struggle with this concept of forgiving people constantly
